June 5th to June 11th – Carers Week 2023
As lawyers who deal with Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims, we see on a daily basis the importance that carer’s play in helping victims to deal with the consequence of negligence. Whilst we may tend to think of carers as mainly being involved in assisting the elderly, this is only one aspect of this important role. A carer is anyone who looks after a family member or friend who has a disability, mental or physical illness, addiction, or who needs extra help as they grow older.
